Adding Farmhouse Decor to Your Home
You can make our guestroom appear "farmhouse" with certain accessories. A nice bookcase with a purchased farmhouse sign would be useful and decorative. A quilt covering the bed and use of chicken wire in areas would be a great start. Also, buffalo plaid usually suggest "farmhouse", so maybe curtains?

This DIY shows you how to make a sweet farmhouse lamp, but the reveal photo also gives you some other ideas. Light wall colors, greenery, simple decor, shiplap walls, white bedding with a touch of color, all great inspiration. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/kitchen-dining/kitchen-lighting/farmhouse-pendant-light-44301938
Create Your Own Farmhouse Pendant Light From a Simple Basket
Add farmhouse style decor with some shelves. Fill a metal pitcher with lavender as a decor and calming touch. Farmhouse style clock. Buffalo check rug. Quilt on the bed.
You can go to any site like Hobby Lobby or Amazon and search for farmhouse and get great results of items to choose from. Big Lots has a surprising amount of farmhouse decor items that are lovely.
I think the a wall with barn wood would really stand out. You could add some brass scones to that wall for a more dramatic effect. Over sized wooden dice and over sized jacks look good on a shelf since they are unique homey at the same time. Chervon arrows also look good on a wall.
I am doing a farmhouse bedroom right now. We were able to update our furniture, but went with white. I also have white beddings and then my accents are silver/gold. I have a lot of beaded items, such as a white wooden beaded mirror, I plan to get a white beaded light fixture to replace the ceiling fan and some beaded garlands. I would try to find some cozy pillows or a throw to spruce up the bed, too. Hobby Lobby is a great place for farmhouse decor items.
It depends on the look you are going for - do you want to do it with paint, furniture, decor?
THey have wallpaper that looks like shiplap in different colors or you can use reclaimed wood on one wall.
