Scrubbing with either lemon juice or white vinegar should get it up. Pour on and let sit 10 minutes, then scrub. You might want to purchase a drill attachment for scrubbing.
CLR should get rid of it you might need to leave on over night and scrub it. Make shure you were old clothing.

Krud Kutter makes a rust remover for stone as well you can usually find this at Home Depot type stores
