How to keep stepping stones from being slick?
We have 'natural' stones in our yard ... and, by natural, I mean REAL rocks/stones we have found in our woods/forrest. These are gorgeous flat stones, but they can be slick due to living in the south were it is very hot/humid. Mold/moss and so forth starts to grow on them. What can I use to help prevent this and not ruin the look of the stones/rocks? Is there some sort of clear rough coating I can put on them?

There is a rubber spray that you can apply. It is clear and you can still see the stone.
Hello. This is a great question to address for safety concerns. Hereās a link that could offer some suggestions.

First thing would be to power wash to get everything off them, then when dry, apply a sealer with polymer grit additive. These pieces of grit are clear. Available at Amazon:

Give the steps a good power wash, and expose them to plenty of sun by cutting back overhanging branches. This will allow more light in and discourage the growth of moss.

I would power wash them with a paving solution to kill the algae (such as Wet & Forget- sold on Amazon). Then treat with a liquid anti-slip solution.

Vinegar can help to inhibit the growth of moss on them. You might check into "wet & forget outdoor", I use it on my steps and it's the only thing that has prevented them from getting gross and slick.
Maybe add some sand to help with more texture
