E6000 glue
You could use hot glue, let it cool slightly and then stick it on.
Super glue should work. It dries clear and is water proof. Plus it is safe enough that some people use it to close up cuts or small wounds.
Oh really? I have this glue that I got from Amazon called weldbond I'm going to go ahead and try that and hopefully it will bond because it's just the cutest thing ever thank you so much or you replying I'll show pictures when I'm done
I would use a little hot glue on the back of the googly eye and just attach it to a spine. I don't think glue is good for the cactus.
I was just thinking that if the spikes on the cactus (don't know what kind of cactus you have) were too sharp and get in the way when trying to glue the eyes on, you could first glue the eyes on to the ends of golf tees. Then add some glue to the sharp end of the cactus and use it to pierce through the skin of the cactus to hold the tee in place.
Hello. Just an FYI, in the past I nailed my cacti floral embellishments into my cactus. The cactus just grew around the nails/ wounds and held the embellishments in place. Someone mentioned first gluing the eyes to golf tees which should work like the nails did.
Use stiff wire. Make a coil and glue it to the back of the eyes and then stick the wires into the cactus.
What a cute idea. Glue the eyes to tacks and then push into the cactus.

Thank you all so much for your replies for now I used dental floss sticks LOLOLOL
Would these work? https://amzn.to/3ek2eI8
Hi Maria, I would glue a thumbtack onto the back of the googly eyes and stick the pointy end into the cacti. They're tough, forgiving plants, just make sure the thumbtacks are clean.
