DIY Winter Door Sign

After taking down all of our Christmas decorations, I wanted to hang some sort of decoration on the front door. I'm not ready to put up a Valentine wreath yet, so I made a simple welcome sign out of some thin wood strips and Dollar Store snowflakes.
We always have some leftover wood in the garage, and I found some thin wood strips from a fall welcome sign that I made around Thanksgiving. After cutting the wood down to size, I glued the pieces together to resemble a fence.
I painted the little fence a wintry white shade and added some Dollar Store snowflakes that were left over from Christmas. I love it when I can reuse holiday decorations!
I added a few other embellishments to the sign, and it was done! You can find more details about this project by paying a quick visit to my blog. :)
