You may love it when your house is decked out in its holiday finest - at least, you love it until Dec. 26! But now it’s time to think about how to change your home décor to celebrate the arrival of the New Year and beyond!
Instead of breaking the bank, there are several simple ways you can reinvent and repurpose the décor you already have by making some easy changes.
By adding a few touches of glitter, glamour and color, your home will have a fresh look for 2015!

Tip 1: Take your old artificial holiday wreath and breathe new life into it by spray painting it gold. Put a Marsala (Pantone’s 2015 color of the year) ribbon on it and you have yourself a very sleek and up to date decor accent.

Tip 2: Take old vases, bottles and candle holders and paint them your favorite color to bring a bright fresh look into your home. They can be used as vases, candle holders or just accent decor in your home!

Tip 3: Have left over holiday candles? Reinvent them by using a bit of glue and glitter and a stencil. They will make great accents to your table decor or mantle.

Tip 4: Take artificial topiaries that were used on your fireplace or mantle for the holidays and give them a new fresh look by painting the pot Marsala color and then adhere artificial pansies to the topiaries to give them a new look for Spring!

Tip 5: We all have left over ribbon from the holidays, so why not make beautiful and elegant napkin rings. A few simple items like ribbon, double stick tape and a paper towel holder turns everyday items into accents for your next brunch or dinner party.
