Spices can do more than add sweetness to your cinnamon rolls or a little heat to your homemade chili. Next time you need to address an ant infestation in your kitchen or prevent pests in your garden, try turning to your spice rack. Common spices like salt and pepper can be used in place of harsh chemicals for everyday household problems.

When I store clothes over the winter, I throw a handful of bay leaves in with them at the bottom, middle and top of the box . In the late spring I bring out the boxes and there's no stagnant "storage smell" to them! It's awesome!
