What can be done with zippers?

I have a sack of old zippers. Any ideas on what can be done with them? Thank you.

I think it would look neat to attach them to a canvas in a varied pattern and use it as art or sew them together and make a purse.

Jewelry. ...... Depending on the length... you can square off the edges a bit and then fray them. Stitch each tail end together to make one bracelet per zipper.

  @Maryellen Eldredge I am a sewer but there is no way I could ever use all the zippers I have collected over the years. lol I am going to check out Pinterest as suggested by Patti Phillippe.

If you type “zipper” into the search bar on Pinterest, you will find a plethora of ideas to turn your zippers into something practical, whimsical, artsy, crafty, etc. I love old zippers!

If you have used all the zippers you can on craft ideas, and still have some more leftover, then my suggestion is to donate them to a nearby school or college that offers sewing or fashion design classes.

Zippers are expensive to purchase. I'm sure cash strapped creative students will put them to good use.
