Our home was built in 1947. The original cabinets are super solid & were made by hand. I painted the kitchen walls the lighter shade of green a few years back, and went conservative with a little darker green on the cabinet doors (see photo). After browsing home talk, I've come to realize that I could paint the cabinet doors, wood trim, etc different colors---which would make a huge, positive impression in the kitchen. :)
My question to my hometalk friends is given the wall and floor color---what colors could you see on the cabinet doors? The trim above the doors? Please note---the cabinet doors are pretty big; they each measure 32" X 23". There are a total of 7 cabinets.
If you think that the wall color has to go as well (lol), please advise. I am open to any and all suggestions. :)The existing countertop is rough and will be replaced at some point in the near future. :)
Thank you for reading this post and for sharing your thoughts. Have a great week! :)
