Bohemian Nightstand

I found this cute little nightstand at the thrift store recently. I was attracted to it's unique character and interesting hardware.
Overall it was in good shape, but needed a new finish.
I decided to go with white Chalky Finish Paint and applied two coats. After they were dry, I distressed it lightly with a solution of 50% water and 50% vinegar. The vinegar solution cuts through the paint easily to bring out lighter colored edges and gives it an aged appearance.
I used clear matt varnish to finish the piece. Then I added a few tiny mirrored tiles to the inside of the doors for some "bohemian" sparkle. It may be unconventional, but I think it adds to the unique character of the piece.
I love the mirrored doors, can you see the sparkle?
