Make a good place to hide jewelry or sterling silver place settings!

It would be great if you could post a photo of what your shoe shine box looks like. I know my Dad has an old military shoe shine kit that's made of wood and opens from the top.

Some kind of paint and/or decoupage........use the shoe stand as a handle........stick your remotes in it......or........same thing, but use it as a charging station. Again, paint to suit........put cup hooks inside......voila..........key hooks.........or........you could just shine your shoes :)

I just inherited my grandfathers shoe shine box. I am going to refinish it in an anique blue color and leave the top open and plant a Golden Pothos in it. Now what to do with all the contents of it.

If it has compartments, it can be used to store tools in the shed, hold garden tools on your recycled pallet garden workbench, or use as a decorarive planter!

Oh PLEASE let me know what you did! I have my dad's and I don't want to turn lose of it. I would love to display it somehow. Many memories of him shining his shoes with it.
