Can I put insulation in my bathroom ceiling so I won’t hear upstairs

    If you have floor joists above you might try spray foam products available from HD, Lowes, WM etc. Make a small hole in the sheetrock, insert the tube fully and spray in all directions. If you have enough ceiling height you might try attaching acoustical tile to the ceiling with construction adhesive.

    Chances are this is a bigger project than you will want. You need to acoustically uncouple the structure of your house from your bathroom. That means sound insulation and a false ceiling.
