Cover for top of outdoor shower?
We have an outdoor shower that we use a lot in the summer. Our screened in porch overlooks the shower. Any idea how to make it more private? We don't want to totally enclose it.

Hello. Can you post a photograph of your situation? That might give us more direct information to give you the best possible personalized attractive solutions to offer?
When my contractor built our outdoor shower beneath our elevated deck positioned/under the stairs, it had no privacy as it had open latticework. We screened the inside area of the shower with T 11 and added a swingdoor and that corrected our situation.
Could T11 be used as a ceiling cover for your shower? It is meant for outdoor exposure. Additionally it could be made as a temporary retractable measure -during shower use only -if you put this on a hinge much like a door.
There’s all sorts of sail canopies to use but I feel like they do not hold up to the weather as well as could be aggravating with a potential mold and mildew situation. Another temporary measure might be to use a beach umbrella to open and close it each time it’s in use. Certainly not a permanent measure.
Hi Linda, I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try hanging faux greenery to hide that opening.
Hello Linda.
Four Timber Posts ( one in each corner) and fit some sort of roof to it - Bamboo screen, metal sheet. etc.
Hi Linda,
How about a retractable awning?
A picture would really be a big help so we can see what you are starting with.
A piece of corrugated roofing might work. They come in metal and plastic.
Could you make a screen on the porch that prevents looking into the shower?
You could use the mesh that is made for screen doors. Make a frame and attach the mesh. Then hinge the cover so that when someone is utilizing the shower and others are around the cover can be flipped over for privacy.
A picture would be very helpful so we could see what you have to work with. Thanks!!!
Hi, what if you put one of those cute triangle awning up to block the view from the balcony?

You could build a trellis over it and drape outdoor material over critical areas or maybe some corrugated metal pieces creatively arranged.
Build a canopy to cover the top. PVC pipe and some fabric. Similar to canopy tents being sold
