How can I fix, paint or do a makeover to my shower walls?

I recently started fixing things around my condo, like new tile in the bathroom, new light fixtures/fan, new shower head, and the whole kitchen but after all that we runner out of cash, now i have the plan to do a makeover in my shower tub and walls because i can’t afford the tile,

Have you checked out tile from Home Depot, Lowes, or a store that resells tile from a recent renovation/demolition? American Standard, Danze and Moen sell some bath fixtures at lower prices than Kohler, etc. Check out stores such as Habitat for Humanity, etc.
What are the shower walls that you have now made out of?
Is your shower one of those oone piece shower stalls? Sometimes they are fibervglass, though they may not be the prettiest the may be easier to care for than some of the alternatives. Check at a home improvement store, you may be able get appropriate paint to freshen it up. They will be able to advise you if you know what it's made of.
