You can paint it. It's a huge job and it requires proper ventilation and I'm not sure how long the paint lasts. Replacing it is probably your best long term best and honestly, it's easier.
There are epoxy products now available. Research them and see if you feel capable of using them to redo your sink. The more videos you watch whre diy-ers accomplish this, you'll get great tips that will help you do a professional-looking job.
