Sounds like a beautiful idea! An alternative would be a pretty window shade with curtains. But, I like your idea.
When you say in separated bathroom, do you mean the windows that are sometimes between the bath and bedroom as opposed to exterior windows? If so, you might want to consider some of the frosted glass look vinyl window applications from Amazon or home centers.
