You can use contact paper :)

They have kits to do this Homedepot, Lowe's or Ace Hardware. Good Luck!

Try the idea of using same tiles style used on t floors, thats what my husband did.

GIain countertop paint kit! I bought one on amazon and used it on my kitchen counters. Takes a little time but result turned out great.
