Buy molding of your choice at HD or Lowes. Use the square medallions for the corners. This way there are no miter cuts. Spray paint with Rustoleum before assembly. Rustoleum is oil based and will resist water spots. I have done this in 2 bathrooms and it looks great years later.
Measure carefully. If you’re lucky, stock frames come in that size, be they from Michaels or a yard sale with ugly art. Keep in mind some of those can be cut down fairly easily because you already have the “pattern” for your corner mitre cuts. Otherwise, stock trim boards from HD and a mitre saw setup.
