French Nightstands Makeover

I picked up these nightstands from the thrift store for $15.00 each! Though ugly in their original state, I knew I could transform them into something great! I used Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint and antiquing wax to create this lovely chippy yumminess!
I used 2 coats of Trophy Gray, and "washed" with Grainsack. I loved how they looked but felt like they would even be better with an antiquing wax finish! It was the perfect choice, deepened the colors nicely.
The "wash" really brought out the details fabulously! Do you agree?
The natural chipping that occurred! I love the chippy old look that I got!
.....and the finished product! If you would like to see more details and look at some more pictures, please visit my site! I would love to have you!
