Ikea Hack Train + Activity Table

$80
30 Minutes
Easy
It was the day after Christmas and I reached my breaking point. I had stepped on one too many train pieces in the dark of night and was seriously concerned about breaking my neck. See our day-after-Christmas living room situation:
We NEEDED a train and activity table to help get some of this stuff up off the floor!
I bought an Ikea Linnmon table top ($9) and Trofast storage unit with drawers ($70) and busted out my drill.
I flipped the table top upside down and attached it to the Trofast unit using a handful of screws.
Now everything is contained in handy bins and up off the floor! So. Much. Better.

This is great - and the fact that you not only get a train table at standing height, but storage as well - not to mention a great looking piece of furniture - wow! Fantastic!

Awesome hack! Great idea to free up floor space and keep things organized.
