They have storm doors specifically for french doors but if you want to make wood screen doors you would make a left hand and a right hand door allowing 1/8 th of an inch margin on the right side, left side, and the middle. Add an astral (sp) to the door you want to be stationary. The astral is a trim piece that acts as a stop for the operating door. To the stationary door add a bolt lock to the top and bottom of the door. The stationary door can be opened by sliding the bolt lock to the open position. The screen door handle and lock goes on the non stationary door. Good luck. I might be adding a wood screen door to my french doors on my 1926 house.
