How do I make a raised bed frame from pallets?

Question

I have a king size bed without box springs. I am looking to make a bed loft using pallets. I have pallets that are 40x48. I’m looking to have a step in it with a bedside table attached. One side of the loft will be flat against the wall. It is similar to the picture except the flat side.

Are you wanting a platform pallet bed thats a bit off the floor, or a loft bed that is suspended up so you can use the space underneath?
