Plant perennials around it, leave space for them to grow, keep them away from the box. Indian Hawthorne is a low growing bush that doesn't get overly big .Helpful Reply -

Here is a link about safety issues and standards with these boxes, so if you want to build a screen around it or landscape, you might need to take this into consideration:https://www.rerc.org/documents/RespectGreenBoxesCalledTransformers.pdfHowever, here are some ideas that you could 'tweek' to take this into consideration:http://homeguides.sfgate.com/hide-power-transformer-box-lawn-88533.htmlhttps://www.pinterest.com/pin/436215913879903879/?lp=trueHelpful Reply -

Check with your local company that cares for it. They may have suggestions of how to hide it and still have easy access to the box. They may have some restrictions, but they probably have seen many that are landscaped properly and can give you options that are good for you.Helpful Reply -

in my neighborhood people just landscape around them. Since it's pretty big, I would do something on the front that would hide it.Helpful Reply -

Why not build an old fashioned wooded well around it. It will look good and someone can always lift it off if they need to get at the transformer. You can use the well to display your house number too.Helpful Reply -
