I want to build my own greenhouse. What do I use for the roof?

I live in the upstate of SC. I’m afraid using recycled windows would break too easily. Need it to be weather proof cause we do get winter, but it is short. Have to be able to ventilate because it is very hot in summer.

There are specialty roof panels available that will open when it gets too hot... and close if it rains... one source is a RV salvage.. many RVs have roof vents that open and close automatically. What you are looking for will require some research for the right design... one of the Hobby Farms type of sites may have better information and answers for you....Helpful Reply -
