Do you mean a sealer over the concrete? If so a water based acrylic sealer would work, make sure you get one that is food safe.

You'd need a good masonry sealer. Just make sure it's food safe and weather-proof.

Most home improvement stores sell different types of outdoor concrete sealer in quart and gallon sizes. Concrete is very porous, so follow the directions on the sealer you buy to ensure you use the correct amount for a quality seal and the right type of applicator. Sealing can often be done in an afternoon from start to finish and can be done every six months to a year.

you could use stone, granite, or other hard surface using stainless steel is not ideal because it scratches easily and also will rust if any of the surface gets roughed up
