Measure the diameter of your fountain spout.. You will be calculating the gallons per hour by multiplying the diameter by 100. For example, if your spout is 1 inch in diameter: 1 x 100 = 100 GPH, your water pump will need to be rated at 100 GPH.
trickle or jeteau? (SP?) a smaller one, 60 gallon, will be nice for a quiet sound, but if you want a blast get at least a 330 gallon pump.
If you are looking to pump 2m vertically vs. 2m horizontally it will matter too. Most pumps list their maximum vertical height in their specs too, so check that out before buying.
