Hello Wendy! Bleach will kill mold on nonporous surfaces that you might find in a shower but it will not kill mold on porous surfaces like drywall. Here is a bit of information that can help you!
White cleaning vinegar will kill the mold spores. Then you can clean with a good shower cleaner. Mixing white cleaning vinegar & blue dawn 50/50 in a spray bottle is a good solution.
To prevent issues in the future consider adding a fan and leaving the door open after showers. We did a small ceiling fan and an exhaust fan, they work wonders.
Killing the mold is one part, getting the spore’s roots out of old grout is the second part. If the grout is damaged, then buy a grout caulk that is anti-microbial.
