Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the door and let sit for several hours. Then rinse.. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.

I have also used Shampoo on the glass doors, It does a great job of cleaning the glass if the water stains are not too bad.

You can cut a grapefruit in half to make your "scrubber". Cover the flat surface of the grapefruit with kosher salt. This will cut through the build up on your shower doors.

Another option would be to purchase "wet & forget shower" that will slowly clean the shower doors. It's a no scrub product and safe for most surfaces. I know you can't use on marble but otherwise, I think you are good.

A hard calcium lime shell can build up over time - try scraping with a plastic paint scraper- go slowly and carefully and you will see a white powder come off and when the surface feels smooth instead of rough you know you got the most of it- after this I use any cleaner - I am also allergic to chemical vapors and nothing I used worked better than scraping

Get rid of grime on the interior of your glass shower door by following these simple steps:

    1. Mix one part vinegar with two parts distilled water in an empty spray bottle and shake well.
    2. Spray the surface of the shower door with the solution and let it work its magic for 10 minutes.
    3. Use a microfiber sponge to wipe away the grime. If you see streaks once the door has dried, use your microfiber cloth to buff them out in a circular motion.

  • Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray it on the hard water stains and let it work. If they are tougher stains, you may have to scrub with a plastic scrubbie!
