Tea is one of those substances you can use to dye fabrics. You can’t use bleach because the carpet is off white. However, if you use liquid Oxyclean, and lots of blotting, you may be able to get the stain out. Hydrogen peroxide works with the same principle, but just might turn it white. One more thing to consider—your off white carpet is bound to be a little darker than you bought it because of normal wear and tear. Best wishes 😇🍁Helpful Reply -

You might try oxiclean... Tea is very difficult. Test and inconspicuous spot and try hydrogen peroxide, mixed with dawn liquid...let sit rinse. If it doesn't stain the carpet it might work on the tea. Good luck!Helpful Reply -
