Tea is one of those substances you can use to dye fabrics. You can’t use bleach because the carpet is off white. However, if you use liquid Oxyclean, and lots of blotting, you may be able to get the stain out. Hydrogen peroxide works with the same principle, but just might turn it white. One more thing to consider—your off white carpet is bound to be a little darker than you bought it because of normal wear and tear. Best wishes 😇🍁
You might try oxiclean... Tea is very difficult. Test and inconspicuous spot and try hydrogen peroxide, mixed with dawn liquid...let sit rinse. If it doesn't stain the carpet it might work on the tea. Good luck!
Try Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Let it dry then vacuum.

I use windex on my carpet stains. Really works wonderful.
White vinegar diluted with some water. Spray on the stain and rub with a clean cloth.
Try Mattress Stain Remover or Magic Sponge. Damp and soak up stain with Kitchen Roll or old Clean Cloth.
Mix two cups of water, one tablespoon of vinegar, and one tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl. Use a sponge to apply the solution directly on the stain, and blot it dry. Repeat as necessary.
