I use a soft bristle brush., Or selotape. You can buy a defluffing tool.

    I use a lint roller.

  • I have an old fashioned lint brush. I also have some of the "sticky tape" lint rollers - I prefer the 3M brand - sold at Walmart, Target, Kmart, grocery stores, Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc.

If whatever you're trying to remove can be brushed off, a lint brush or roller should work. However, if you have pills or fuzz from the fabric and they are still attached, you can try gently shaving the article with a disposable multi bladed disposable razor. It will take some time but you should be able to gently shave off the bumps! Be sure to use a razor without a moisturizer strip...good luck!

They sell a special shaver thing just for this and it works for me. It takes a few pages but things look new,you can even use it on a wool coat. It runs on batteries I can't remember what it's called but I've seen them at Joanna and at walmart. My aunt got me mine and sorry don't remember name. It fits it palm of hand like those face brushes so about same size in legnth,so sorry but it's out there maybe Walgreens or CVS has them.

I like using lint rollers but my advice- don't spend too much money on it because they are only good for a few uses ( you can get packs for very cheap at the dollar store and the likes, don't worry about fancy packaging)

They make battery operated "shavers" specifically for removing lint balls and "pilling" from clothes. I purchased one for about $14.00 from Walter Drake, I believe it was. They are safer to use on material than a regular shaving razor, as I have tried that method - and careful as I was......cut a hole in the material.
