Google it. "how to get nail polish out of carpet"
nail polish remover but if the carpet is made of poly you will have a hard time removing the polish without destroying the fibers
If you catch it right away, pour salt on it and pull together and lift out of rug. Don't know why but it worked. if it's dry I would try putting a layer of paper towels and place a warm iron on top. maybe contact a carpet company ask them ;-)
Nail polish remover on a cotton ball.
just want you to know that you can get nail polish out of carpet!!! I spent about 3 hours scrubbing it out once but it came out! Acetone (straight acetone you buy at the home improvement store) and before that Barbasol (the really cheap shaving cream) let the cream sit for a bit and then a lot of Acetone. It will get the polish out of the carpet. Blot it up with a clean towel.
