Clean the floor with muriatic acid. This will prep the floor for your epoxy paint. Be sure to wear protective clothing and glasses for this job.
If you have a lot of oil on the floor you might as well forget it.
If you do, and insist on an epoxy floor, hire it done and make sure you get a warranty.
Cleaning the floor with muriactic acid should help.
