I have throws on all the furniture just for the pets. One of mine is a licker too!
If you have zippers on the cushions take them off and throw in the wash. Spot first

Microfiber usually does not stain unless it gets grease, oil. You could try a degreaser LIKE Dawn dish soap. My husband used Krud Kutter on our car carpet to get out stain. It was diluted. If you try Dawn, put a little on a rag and rub over. Then use a wet one to get all the Dawn out. The KK did not hurt the car carpet. Hope this helps. If you wash, consider air drying. Microfiber eventually roughed from heat.
I'd try Oxyclean first, or add ammonia to a good quality carpet/fabric cleaner using the furniture attachment with your carpet shampooer.
I have to say I have microfiber furniture and I hate it. But oddly enough, I have used baby wipes to clean the arms and it works surprisingly well. But eventually it will look more like leather than fabric, which is why I don't like it.
The standard way to clean microfiber is to use alcohol on a very soft baby brush on it. I put the alcohol in a shallow dish and dip the brush and run the brush over the area in several directions, re-dip as needed, let dry.
I would break the dog of the habit and train him off the furniture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i6Ot189Fuo
Thanks everyone for your info - will try it this weekend after I paint a room!
My couch does not have coushins than can be removed. I do have throws but those little critters push them around to get comfy and then they lick!!!
I’ve successfully used shout spray, but I’ve heard that that could stain
Try oxiclean! Dissolve some powder in a spray bottle.
Hi,
Train the dog not to go near the sofa! or use a steam cleaner to get rid of stains. Best wishes
You could try club soda. #1 reason why there is a blanket on my recliner— much easier to wash!

Distilled water and a microfiber cloth only. You want to stay away from minerals on microfiber.
