Wash in hot soapy water in sink, may need to add a little bleach.
Try rinsing it with white vinegar. or just dish soap and water . Do not let it soak - then sit in the sun.
Give it good clean, I would be tempted to give a brush with a toothbush to thoroughly clean.
Just wash with soap and water
Be sure to dry the basket very well before putting any more fresh produce in it to prevent dampness from seeping up into the food.
