How can I clean burned on stains on my revere ware pots?
While cooking soup in my large Revere ware pot, I was distracted by a phone call and severely burned everything in the pot leaving a lot of black burned on stains as well as messing up the copper bottom. Before I dispose of the pot, I hope you have some practical tips on how to clean this mess up. You probably have already printed good correctional tips for copper bottomed pots, but I have missed them. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the best way to clean hardwood floors in the kitchen?
Do not discard. For outside use oven cleaner. For inside cover burnt on stuff with water and several teaspoons of dishwashing detergent powder. Bring to boil for at least a minute or two. Cover and let sit for about a half hour. Should wash right off. If still stubborn repeat. Should be good as new.
For the copper bottom, oven cleaner or ketchup.
For the inside, a couple of spoonfuls of dishwasher powder or 2 tablets of the
pre-formed dishwasher product and boiling water covering the burnt area, let this set with the lid on for 30 min to 1 hour.
Best to you.

I use ketchup on the outside and alka seltzer on the inside. As good as new!
