I use a combination of white vinegar and dishwashing liquid (Dawn, Palmolive etc.), in a nylon scrubby dish brush. I clean the glass etc., and rinse with hot water. We do this once a week. You may have to do it more often if you have a big family, or if the build up is tenacious.

Tilex Soap Scum remover works well too, but we found it affected our caulked seams. The knock offs were worse; they ate through the caulk.

We now squeegee every day. The last person showering does it. We no longer have problems with cloudiness, scum, mildew or hard water stains. It takes a few seconds to do, and is so worth it.

  • Straight vinegar in a spray bottle should do the trick! Rinse well. Clean as normal.

We bought a turbo scrubber to do ours. You can use "Shower to shower" spray. You apply it everytime you are ready to get out and it prevents any build up, once you do get it cleaned up.
