Ice cubes to harden then scrape off. If some wax is left you can try putting fabric between brown paper and ironing but depends on the fabric. Hope this helps! M in Australia

Have you tried freezing the fabric to see if it will just chip off? It makes the wax brittle and is how I get candle wax off candlesticks and saucers. Just don't heat it!

I just posted that last week. Get an iron and lots of paper towels. cover the was with the towels and lay your iron on cotton setting. it will transfer the wax to the paper towels. repeat as many times as needed. I've done this for decades. As I love candles

You can also use a paper grocery bag, put over the wax and heat with an iron and it will adhere to the paperback. Did this on carpet and came right up.

Plain brown paper bag-grocery store one, you may need several depending on how much wax is in the carpet.

Iron the bag over the wax on low, no steam, repeat with fresh areas of the bag, do this until no more wax is on the bag.
