Tip: Car wax to keep your vent covers clean!

To prevent dust from building up on your vent covers, use some car wax on them. This is a harmless and easy way to help them repel dust, keeping your home that much cleaner.
Anyone done this or something similar?

I am confused, how do you do this. Paste polish or liquid, spray? -

I used paste, but you could use any type, the reason is you want to coat your vent with something that dust will not stick to. I tried furniture polish but it did not work as well. -

I used an old damp t-shirt rag to apply a light coat of wax. Used a microfiber towel to wipe it off.
