How do you remove fiberglass?
I have a fiberglass top fire-pit that the top is falling apart (literally flaking off - looks awful). Is there anyway to remove the fiberglass (about 3 inches in depth) and replacing it with tile?

Hi Marie, you should be able to remove the ugly fiberglass with a small rotary tool and clean it up nice so you can put in tile
Hi Marie,
Here's a video that explains how to remove fiberglass from wood. You didn't mention what is underneath but hopefully this will help you. The biggest thing to be aware of is that doing this can be dangerous. Make sure you have all of the safety equipment before you start and please proceed cautiously. If you're not comfortable using this method, do not attempt to DIY. Wishing you the best.
