How do I remove plastic burned onto a patio heater?




We purchased a patio heater, my husband put it together, but left the plastic on the top. It is burnt on, how do I remove it?

ALWAYS WATCH THE MASTERS AT WORK!! INSPECT ALL HIS WORK! MAYBE HAIRDRYER HEAT AND PLASTIC EDGE SCRAPER, AND GOOF OFF, BUT MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN IT WITH SOAP AND WATER UNTIL ALL THE CHEMICAL IS GOOONEOFF.. PAM
Goof off with a plastic scraper so you don’t scrape it. Or a hair dryer on low to test a spot if it will come off. Yikes!
Citristrip should remove it. Just brush it on and cover with plastic wrap until it loosens up. Then wipe and clean any excess.
