I just use Goo Gone. Works best and is not expensive.
Thank you very much,
Or WD 40.
It is basically a penetrating oil, there is no "recipe". If you don't have Goo Gone, you can use WD40 in a pinch. It also does a nice job of removing dried paint from paint brushes.
I use really hot water, Dawn Dish & razor blade green scrubber sponge. straight rubbing alcohol works really well as does WD-40
THis might be what you are asking for
Mix about a tablespoon of dish soap, such as "Dawn", and a tablespoon of corn meal, or grits". Add just enough water to make it "useable". Exact proportions are not crucial.
Thank you all for your helpful answers.
A paste of baking soda and cooking oil. Rub in to adhesive and it takes it off every time. I keep a tiny jar of it under the sink. It is SO inexpensive and really works. Wash with dish soap to dissolve the oil once the adhesive has been removed.
