Try rubbing alcohol
Try hair spray.
Rubbing alcohol should do the trick. I'd suggest nail polish remover (or just acetone) but that will probably lift the white from the door.

Try a Mr. Clean eraser (not the store brand) they usually remove everything. Just don't scrub too hard. Good luck.

Believe it or not, bug spray (like OFF) will take it off.
This going to sound backward, but I use on reg basis, go over the perm marker with a dry erase marker, and wipe, depending how long the perm mark has been there you may have to do this several times, will not remove paint or any damage
Alcohol.
Write over it with a dry erase marker. Wipe with a cloth and the permanent marker will come right off.
Use rubbing alcohol on a piece of cotton or use it to wet a magic eraser. It should come off really easily. WD 40 also takes of magic marker.
