How can I make a craft closet?

I have a tiny coat closet and I need to use it for my crafting and craft supplies. I want to some how make a desk to do my crafting and to somehow organize my supplies. I just don't know where to start..

Hi Cathy,
Add a baton either side or the cupboard just below the height you want your desk to be. Then cut from timber the size of internal measurement across for top from one side to the other. Drop the top in and fix down if required from underneath or on top. Do the same again for shelves only don't make them so deep. Add Baskets or Boxes marked up for your items. Have fun.
Hi Cathy Maybe a drop down desk? One where you could drop the leaf down?
Or you could use concrete bricks the large grey ones , paint them pretty , and have your wood cut to fit . Dont forget to glue or stabilize your blocks.

Here’s another idea it’s a “ floating desk”

I would suggest using anystorage solution receptacles you can find. Stacking bins, drawers and carts to manage supplies. I have a repurposed kitchen cupboard thats retrofitted to be my craft closet after a downsize. Labeling is a must.
