  • is there a theme for the dance or a color palette? That would help a bit to narrow the ideas

What kind of dance? Super fancy such as a milestone in a marriage or a school dance? Go with rest of decor unless this is it then just pick a theme yourself. At my nieces wedding they, both brainy acts used books no flowers at all and it fight them perfectly. If it's an anniversary then look up what symbol is used is it a golden one or such and let that guide you as far as flowers and pins from a store that you can make arrangements yourself simple but classic is inorder. A school prom usually has a theme. If it's an adult birthday it depends on the age to me, younger would careless what you put on table older just a simple small vase with a single flower would look nice. I hope you all have fun as you dance night away.

What is the March Dance, I can't be the only one who has no idea, did you mean March of Dimes? If so then it's a big event that you should have a professional handle decor. Or you could go with something very elegant such as a white orchid at each table in a gold planter. Since it is a ballroom dance club is it stuffy? Can you be whimsical? Each dance originated in a country I think,so maybe something that is representative of that dance and it's origin? I would go with elegant with that decor. Orchids come to mind. They are very graceful just like the dancer's. Since you can get them in all varieties and colors you could possibly represent the origin of that dance and maybe a small flag. But stick to gold bowls. An other option would be those tall graceful branches that you can buy at any craft store that you can place in a tall cylindrical vase with battery operated lights, clear only,if you are at all crafty you can cover the bottom by sponge painting the vase in gold paint for glass use. Or just paint it solid and as you go up start adding dots with the tip of a pencil eraser dipped in the gold paint. Each unique and battery pack is hidden so just make sure that you use fresh batteries. Wind up lights within the vase use the fairy lights because they tend to come with very thin almost clear thread like cord. Simple easy cost efficient yet elegant and as people sit they can see each other to speak as well as the dancers. If you need something super low on table then an arrangement that is totally unexpected made purely of succulents in green but gold elongated bowls. It represents the coming of spring new life and is not just a plan bunch of carnations or tulips or even roses. It's so out there it's cool. And this you can do yourself. Purchase the size of planter according to the size of table but if food and drinks will be served keep place settings in mind so no one feels crowded. That's the worst. I would paint, unless you could find gold and iridescent stones to fill around the tops so that the appear to be floating just like the dancers. That's cool. I amaze myself cause I am the least creative person in my mind, let me just enjoy this moment,so please no one be negative😣. I hope that doesn't scare you off,I really do believe in these ideas I just am really bad at follow through. It sound like fun. I wish I could just even line dance but I am so uncoordinated. So I just watch. So kiddos to you and the gang!
