In the hopes that Spring is near, I decided to deck out my dining table with a little bit of fresh spring decor. This was extremely budget friendly and I'm loving the pop of color it brings to this room!
For each season, I leave my 6' chicken feeder on my table and just fill it with various florals and garlands to match the season. With spring coming, I really wanted to incorporate lemons into our decor somehow. I didn't want it to be overwhelming, just a nice subtle pop of yellow.
I started by going to Hobby Lobby and purchasing their lamb's ear garland and a eucalyptus garland. They were normally $20 but this week Hobby Lobby had garland 50% off so I only paid $10 each! I purchased two of the lamb's ear and one eucalyptus.
To start off with, I weaved a eucalyptus and lamb's ear garland together and wove it underneath my chicken feeder. This help's fill in the empty space underneath and around the chicken feeder.
I then purchased two bags of large lemons from Hobby Lobby, as well as a bag of small lemons. If you go when floral is 50% off (about every other week) you can get these on sale as well. They are typically $9.99 for the large lemons, but I got them for $5. And the mini lemons are typically $5.99 but I got them for $3. Can you say score?!
I laid the second lamb's ear garland in the chicken feeder, fluffling it up slightly. I then randomly placed my lemon's all throughout my feeder.
To finish off my spring tablescape, I used my galvanized chargers and mixed and matched my white dining ware. I then placed granny's old copper mules on top of each place setting.
Ta-da! Creating a fresh spring tablescape is as easy as it sounds! We are now ready to host a fresh, spring dinner!
