This card will make every birthday girl/boy happy! You can make this beautiful 3D card all by yourself using the large corner punch and a basic card, some foam tape, some scrapbook paper and your choice of embellishments. By playing around with the text and paper type you can make your own birthday cards, invitations, birth announcement cards, thank you cards or any other sort of greeting card in your very own style. Vaessen Creative’s large corner punch helps you make rounded off corners of 14 mm, 17 mm or 20 mm, allowing you to transform any greeting card into a personal birthday greeting.

Select a large basic square card from Vaessen Creative’s Florence collection.

Cut a 15 x 15 cm piece of scrapbook paper and make 20 mm rounded off corners using the 3-in-1 corner punch.

Cut four different sorts of scrapbook paper to size - 4 x 4 cm, 3 x 3 cm, 3 x 7 cm and 4 x 6 cm - and punch on each piece 14 mm corners on two opposite corners.

Use the Cut ’Em Easy cutting and embossing machine to punch various die cuts, such as an ampersand, some circles, a message and a flag garland.

Treat the edges of the card, the scrapbook paper and all the punched shapes with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.

Stick the 15 x 15 cm piece of scrapbook paper on the card. Then stick the rounded off squares and rectangles on top with foam tape.

Next stick on the punched shapes with foam tape.

Decorate the card with sequins for a sparkling finishing touch.
