We have tried this simple hack with a 20 oz bottle to keep the chickens water from freezing! It has been working great for us! The chickens are really liking it too! It does even take an electricity either which makes it so... NICE!

Well that's nice , the water don't freeze ; BUT...what about thoses poor chickens !!!

Ping pong balls corks aerosol lids the as long there is a bit of wind they will move them
