    Yup. Use freezer bags and remove as much air as you can. Freeze them laying flat on the shelf. They take up less space and thaw quicker that way.

    Yes it can Sheila! And there is an added bonus...the flavor is even better after thawed. You can put it into zip lock freezer bags so it can be frozen flat and stacked.

    I have frozen mine in the past with success. I have done both cooked and uncooked and both have worked well. Either double bag or use the sealing machine for bags.

    Put it in freezer bags, get as much of the air out as you can, lay it flat in the freezer and you will have an easy to keep flat package that will take a lot longer to get freezer burn. I do this with spaghetti sauce all the time. It also thaws quicker when it is flat and not too thick.

    My husbands makes homesauce. We found it does not freeze well.
