How to make a dog barrier for my door?

I have to make a dog barrier from my door, across a carport to a fence right off carport so I can let my little dog out & neighbors dogs can't get him. Right now he has to do all his Business in the house.

  Just do a 4' fence with gate. Protect that baby.

Can't you put up a small fenced in area for your dog?

  I think I'd be asking the neighbor to keep their dog on their own property but you could try one of those tall dog kennels for dogs. You can also get tarp roof for them- https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gymax-Large-Pet-Dog-Run-House-Kennel-Shade-Cage-7-5-x7-5-Roof-Cover-Backyard-Playpen/717700288?

Get some baby gates I go around on trash day one day befor people throw them out then use them
