How do i keep my cat inside ?
My cat needs to either stay inside or get a cover for the backyard so she can't get onto the roads

We do not let our cat outside due to safety concerns. Just do not let them out the door. You will need everyone in your home to be vigilant about keeping the doors closed.
I have a very large dog kennel with a top. we cut 1 side to fit a cat door and connected it to a house window. Also put shelves inside cage and fastened indoor/outdoor carpet on them. Cats love it and can go in and out when they want. Also planted flowering vines on 1 side that are starting on the top. It's pretty and cats can lie in sun or shade.
